Terms of Service for pet portrait commissions by Ivana Li

Please read these terms carefully and make sure to ask me any questions you might have about them prior to agreeing to them. By commissioning work from me you agree to these TOS.

Base Terms:

You must be at least 18 years old to commission custom work from me.
You will not own the rights to the painting, photos taken by me of the finished painting or any other artwork done during the commission. You may not reproduce the painting yourself or use it as a prototype for mass production.
I retain the right to use photos of the finished painting for advertising.
Turn around time for commissions is 1-2 months unless otherwise specified

Payment

Full Payment upfront is highly preferred and makes me more likely to take your commission. Otherwise, 40% non refundable down payment is required. Afterwards I expect full payment when I present the final product. The painting will not be shipped before full payment is received.

Changes:

The changes included in the commission price are:

• one (1) change after initial sketch
• one (1) change after painting, before final touches (whiskers, eye glints)

changes may be more than one thing but have to be all done in one go to count as one(1) change. For example: “please make his face rounder, make the ears bigger and make his nose more brown” is one change. any additional or too drastic changes will either cost extra or will be declined. If a change is not possible I will also decline it.

Reasons for termination of your commission:

Should any of these things happen, I reserve the right to cancel your commission and keep full payment.

• Failing to communicate in a professional way within a reasonable timeframe. A response to work sent for approval or payment issues is generally expected within 5 business days unless otherwise specified.
• Explicitly insulting me (using slurs, name calling, etc.),
• behaving inappropriately towards me (especially sexually or violently)
• or crossing any other boundaries I have clearly communicated.
